Goodbye… for now.
This will be a quick one. The zen-man will be leaving in a few hours for the Virgin Islands to work on…err.. the perfect tan. I’ll be back in about 10 days and hopefully with plenty of goodies from the land of no-wifi. I’ll miss ya’all! 
I left some food in the fridge for you my friends – because i’m that nice… i don’t want you to starve! Just make sure you don’t trash the place in my absence. And can someone pleaaase do the dishes and mop the floor after you’re done? Not like last time!.. geez, thanks!
There’s some steamed black cod with chinese black bean sauce in the fridge – very delicious. If you want something different you can always make yourself some soft polenta with wild mushrooms with a nice little glass of chilled pouilly fuisse (open the cabinet, the polenta is on the top right corner) or you can try a goat cheese souffle for the challenged. Either one you choose, you won’t be disappointed! For the choco-addicts, may i recommend the best chocolate-chip cookie recipes on the planet?
As a digestif of course, nothing can beat watching some monkeys getting drunk. hehe..hahaha.. eh.. umm. Am i the only one thinking it’s funny?

Have an awesome time! If you can get there easily, you have to go to Tortola and go to the Bomba Shack (avoid their special punch, or you may never come home) and there is also a bar that is built up around a gorgeous tree and also Pussers Rum-look for the owner he is around usually and an interesting guy to talk to, Tortola is a fabulous place to visit. You won’t want to come back!

Virgin Islands, man I am jealous. I was at Tortola and man, was it beautiful…the simmering blue and turquoise sea. And chef, there are WIFI and internet access and they are fast.
Have fun…I really wanted to go back there for a real vacation.

PS. I made the Roasted Chicken with soy-whiskey glaze. It came out tasting wonderfully if not as beautiful as yours. I finally posted about it.
